Someone in Public Works who is iin a position of authority must explain PW policy on collecting yard waste papaer bags. They are always left at the curb by collection teams, then one has to call PW and leave a message about the failure to collect them.
What is the policy? Why doesn't someone in charge make sure that these bags are not left uncollected?
I can undedrstand the sustainability effort of keeping such debris out of the garbage stream, but a procedure must be put in place to correct this problem. Week after week one must call PW about the bags that they should already know lay on the curb for collection.
I hope this gets through to City Hall and the director of PW
